About The Marlin Medical Foundation
The Marlin Medical Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Marlin Medical Solutions LLC, a premier provider of high-quality medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumables, and equipment in the healthcare industry.
Marlin Medical Solutions and The Marlin Medical Foundation were founded by David Marlin Edwards who has more than 14 years of medical sales experience. His passion for philanthropy, combined with his experience in the medical sales industry, paved the way for a foundation dedicated to being a beacon of light in a dark world.
“Our mission is to be a light in dark components of this world and to offer support to those with no voice.”
— DAVE MARLIN EDWARDS, FOUNDER, THE MARLIN MEDICAL FOUNDATION AND MARLIN MEDICAL SOLUTIONS
Marlin Medical Foundation’s Inspired Giving; Where It Began
Throughout his career, Dave Marlin Edwards was inspired by the selfless medical practitioners who gave up years of their lives, time and energy to care for others. But his desire to serve the world by giving back began long before any professional position. In fact, Edwards credits his studies at the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago where he took to heart their message of
With this mission firmly planted inside his heart, David Marlin Edwards began his professional career. He knew he would have to build his credentials and business first in order to have the means to privately fund a foundation which had the potential to serve others.
His career began at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics. He later joined NeuroTherm Inc. as an Area Sales Director and was ultimately promoted to Director of Strategic Development.
After a successful five years with NeuroTherm, Edwards decided it was time to start his own company and he launched Marlin Medical Solutions as a managing partner. The rest, as they say, is history.
David Marlin Edwards believes the Marlin Medical Foundation is a way he can use his gifts for the greater good as an extension of Marlin Medical Solutions and be that individual bridge that Dwight Moody envisioned more than 100 years ago.
“… I believe we have got to have gap-men, men to stand between the laity and the ministers; men who are trained to do city mission work. Take men that have the gifts and train them for the work of reaching the people.”
— D.L. MOODY
